My first cowl!

Actually it's the third I knit, but it's the first I get to keep.My very own La-La-Love-You cowl:

The picture isn't great, but it's so soft and so warm (malabrigo worsted in the Geranio colourway from Pinsvinn, for those who didn't read aaaallll the posts before about my love for all things malabrigo).

Modifications: cast on 99 stitches, used 4.5mm needles, added 4 rows of seed stitch at the top and the bottom to avoid curling.

  1. Yikes, that was quick.
I hope to dye my yarn in the next day or so.
Sure hope it looks good enough to knit with
since I'm pretty much a novice when it comes to dyeing.
For the kal with Knitabulls I'm planning on the Valentine Scarf.

  2. I think some scarves and cowls lead themselves well to unevenly saturated dyeing, so I'm sure it will be fine. I look forward to seeing what you have done!
