Current projects

This is the baby blanket. I now need to sew it and of course finish off the last square. I will also crochet a few flowers with the remaining yarn and sew them onto the blanket.

For the second project (which I'm working on in parallel) I went for a jacket. The front is almost done and I'm still missing the sleeves and the crochet edge that will go all along the front, bottom and end of sleeves. This is made using Apa wool, which I really love. The only thing is that I went to a different store sometime after having started this project and saw an off-white wool which I really loved, so now I keep having doubts as to whether I like this jacket or whether it really would have been much better with the off-white. One option of course would be to undo everything and start again with the off-white, but that would leave me with a lot of unused wool, so I'm going for the second option which is to finish this and then maybe later do it again with the off-white if I'm still obsessed about it.

And since I can almost see the end of these two projects, I have another two lined up. A sweater (for which I will choose an off-white/cream colour yarn in an attempt to get rid of my obsession for the jacket) and a scarf. The purpose of the scarf is to learn to knit a bit of lace and I haven't decided on the colour yet. I think I'll decide when I see the selection in the store.
