It's been a while Roger (Federer. Seriously, I had to tell you??) hadn't had a real grind out and come out on top. It wasn't pretty, but coming back from a set and a break down felt nice, you could tell in his celebration jump.
It's great to see Roger play like "Roger", but it's also nice to see him win ugly. Let's hope for one more tomorrow and then we're off to Dubai.
And yes, I am thankful for a win by Roger. Watching him lose is just painful. It's painful in the big tournaments because it means so much, and it's painful in teh small tournaments or against lower-ranked players because it shouldn't be. Wait, have I become one of those people for whom winning is a must simply because I hate losing? How did that happen?? I wasn't about winning or losing for much of my life!
Roger can do that to you...
