As some of you know, I'm completely in love with malabrigo yarn and as I am planning to join the February KAL (knit-along) with the Knitabulls podcast, I needed a skien of worsted yarn, preferably red. The pattern I'm doing is called La-La-Love-You cowl by Sandra Park, and appropriately for February, has little hearts.
Here it is!! It's Malabrigo kettled dyed pure merino wool, worsted (216 yards for 3.5oz) , in the geranio colourway.
Now, you may notice that another skien snuck up next to it. I don't really know how that happned, but I think it just fell into my shopping cart when I was browsing the website... But since I have it, I might as well enjoy it. It's a skien of sock yarn, also malabrigo, and here is a better picture:
It's malabrigo sock (440 yards for 3.5oz) kettle dyed pure superwash merino wool in the archangel colourway. I have no plans for it, but as soon as I get my new "sock knitting needles", I'm sure it will get a lot of love. :-) Probably something from the Soctopus book I purchased.
