Progress

Ok, a short update on the projects. I have bought new needles for the scarf because the ones I had were so long and heavy and the yarn is so light that I couldn't knit "delicately". Now that I have the new needles, I'm hoping I won't have as many near-heart attacks when the needles slip out or when I realize I've just knitted two rows together, not two stitches. I haven't, however, started on the scarf again because I'm leaving in ten days, and in those ten days I need to learn a lot so that I can work on various projects during the vacation without the possibility of further instruction.

For that purpose I have started on a baby blanket which, according to the instructions, should use two different stitches, but I'm going to use two different colours so I can learn to do that.

And I have finally had a successful try at my jacket sleeves. I am now about 30cm up the first sleeve and things seem to be going well. It's not perfect and there are a few "issues" here and there, but none worth undoing everything for. Now I just need to learn how to crochet the edge of the jacket, and then I'll be able to finish it while on vacation.

Pictures when I have time...
